Sofilantjes heeft een nieuwe broek uitgebracht. De Beatum.
Deze sweatpants heeft de mogelijkheid tot een stoere bikerlook of een plain voorkant. Ook geeft hij je keuze tussen twee achterzakken. Een inseam of een kontzak. Voor jonge luierdragende kinderen is er een high backyoke optie, om die luiers wat te verhullen als ze bukken of kruipen. De broek is er vanaf maat 80 tot maat 164.
Als stof raden ze een french terry aan.

Sofilantjes just released a new pants. The Beatum.
These sweatpants gives you the option to choose betwee a bikerlook of a plain front. It gives you two backpockets options. An inseam or a backpocket.
For young children it has an option of a high back, so it covers up the diaper when they crawl. It comes in the sizes 12m – 14y.
They recommend a french terry fabric.
Maar deze broek is ook zeer geschikt om te werken met een jeanslook stof, zodat je een stoere uiterlijk krijgt die de comfort van een joggingbroek heeft. Heerlijk als je weg moet, maar je kind graag wel lekker in een joggingbroek wilt lopen. Of als ze niet zo fit zijn en gewoon naar school moeten gaan, want tsja leren moet nu eenmaal.
But there pants are a perfect oppertunity to use a jeanslook fabric to make a cool looking pair of jeans that has the comfort of a sweatpants. Wonderfull if you have to go somewhere but your child does want to wear a sweatpants. Or if there not feeling well, but they still have to go school just because of reasons…
Mijn zoon is de lengte in geschoten en ohboy what a joy! Ik moest nu het hele patroon doorknippen en verlengen. Ik heb er even goed bij gezeten, de instructies daarvoor wel 6x door gelezen omdat ik bang was het verlengen fout te doen… maar uiteindelijk was het vrij simpel om te doen en zit de broek perfect. Lengte goed, breedte goed… Eindelijk eens een broek die zowel goed om zn billen heen zit als de lengte heeft met de pijpen. Het was me de tijd die ik moest nemen voor het verlengen meer dan waard.
My son grew quite a lot lately. And what a fun it was! I had to cut the whole pattern in pieces and lengthen it all. It took me a while and read through the instructions about 6times just because I was afraid of doing it wrong… But in the end it was so easy to do and the pants fits perfect. Length is perfect, width is perfect. Finaly a pair of trousers that are fitting good at both his bum and lengthwise. It was a time well spend to adjust the patternpieces.
Over goed lezen gesproken… Ik heb de instructies van de valse rits ook ik weet niet hoe vaak gelezen, maar het wou gewoon niet in mijn hoofd. Het ging er gewoon niet in. Ik besloot toen om op mijn intuïtie te vertrouwen en tadaaa daar was de rits. Het was helemaal niet zo moeilijk als mijn hoofd me dat vertelde. Hoe raar kan je tegen iets aankijken als je wat leest.
Speaking about having a good read… The instructions of the false zipper. I have read it severaltimes, but it somehow just didn’t made any sense in my head. It just didn’t work out. In the end I just decided to follow my own instincts and there it was! the false zipper. It was plain simple. How strange can you sometimes look at things just because your head does not wantto accept the words.
De broeken vragen minder tijd dan ik had verwacht om ze te naaien. Ik riep tot een maand geleden nog hard dat ik nooit geen broeken zou naaien… maar ik denk dat ik daar nu met dit patroon wel een beetje op terug kom. Hij geeft weer mooie combineer opties zodat je met meerdere broeken niet steeds dezelfde look hebt.
Sewing the pants doesn’t take ages, as I thought it was going to be. Till about a month ago I called out that i would never sew any pants for my children. But I think with this pattern I will take back those words. It gives you some nice combinations so you have make multiple trousers without having them looking the same.
Dit zijn voor nu de gemaakte broeken, binnen een week gemaakt. De bikerpants mistte op de foto nog de afbeelding op het kniestuk, die zoals je op andere foto’s kan zien zit die er nu wel op.
Sinds kort kan ik zelf voorwerpen bedrukken. Ik leer vrij snel in hoe het werkt en ben tot nu toe erg tevreden met het resultaat wat het me geeft.
For now these are the pants that I made within a week. The bikerpants on the photo misses it’s prints when I took the photo. But as you can see on other photo’s it was added shortly after.
Just for a short while I can cut my own iron-ons. I learned pretty fast how it works and I’m very content with the way the pants turned out.
Bij de stoere bikerbroek hoorde ook een stoere shirt die er bij past, maar ook perfect bij andere broeken zou passen. Dus ging ik aan de slag. Er waren nog een paar nieuwe shirts nodig dus dat kwam wel goed uit.
Ik heb de regem van sofilantjes genomen en de colourblock opties voor het voorpand en de mouwen gekozen. Hierop heb ik, net als op de broek, lijnen genaaid. Hierdoor past hij goed bij de broek, maar door de regenboog metalic opdruk van de shirt kan hij ook op een normale spijkerbroek worden gedragen.
With the cool bikerpants, you need a cool shirts that matches is. But can be worn without each other aswell. So I started a shirt. He needed a couple more shirts anyway so this was the perfect timing for it.
I used the regem from sofilantjes and used the colourblock option for the frontbodice and the sleeves. Just like the bikerpants I added the stripes. This made him a perfect match with the pants. But because the rainbowthread matched the metalicprint perfect it looks very cool on a normal jeans aswell.
Bij het maken van een nieuw patroon horen natuurlijk ook de promotiefoto’s. En ik vond het als trotse mama heel erg moeilijk om de foto’s niet direct de wereld in te gooien. Of iedereen er mee dood te gooien. Mijn kleine jongen is opeens zo groot geworden…
Ofcouse as past of the testing is making promotion photo’s. And me, as a proud mom, had a very hard time not to trow the photo’s at everybody around me nor on social media. I wanted to shower everybody with the photo’s. My little boy grew all of a sudden into a big boy.
Ik denk dat je aan de hand van de foto’s al wel kan zien welke broek favouriet is bij mijn zoon om te dragen. Door de gele opdruk(zijn lievelingskleur) en de regenbooggaren wordt de broek nu al op de schone wasmand getrokken voordat deze goed en wel in de kast gelegd kan worden. Hij woont er bijna in momenteel. En ook de spacetrui vind hij maar super stoer om te dragen. Het is eens wat anders dan dino’s in huis en dat vind ik super stoer.
I think by just looking at the photo’s you can guess what the favourite pants of my boy is to wear. Because of the yellow print (his favouritecolour) and the rainbow thread, the pants is being stolen from the cleanlaudrybasket before it is even folded or put in his closet. It’s just short of living in the pants. Even the spaceshirt is a favourite. Well atleast it’s something diffent then all the dino’s and I think that that’s cool.
